"El Tollo" is located in the centre of the D.O. Utiel-Requena, one of the biggest wine zones of Spain, that has obtained the international recognition for the quality of their wines. This makes of "El Tollo" an ideal point of exit for the wine tourism, we can begin visiting the "Round Cellar" -Headquarters of the regulatory advice and wine museum-, we can continue visiting anyone of the more than hundred cellars located in the region, the underground caves where the wine was stored in the exage and, of course, the taste of our wines in the cellars and in our restaurant.

The mycology tourism completes, in certain seasons of the year, the wine tourism, Utiel is in the centre of a valley in which mountains you can recollect a wide variety of mushrooms. Every month of October 'El Tollo' celebrates mycology courses in which we combine the recollection with mushroom tastings, conferences by experts in mycology and exhibitions.

Next to Utiel are located the mashers of Benageber, Contreras and Chera, like the "Hoces del Cabriel" where you can do tourism of adventure, from mountain-bike, all-terrain or quad to riskier ones like rafting, precipice climbing or puenting. The net of paths of "La Plana de Utiel" offers three relaxed itineraries by foot through the saw of Utiel and the Negrete, crossing different places of the zone.

There are some obligatory stops for the visitors, the gothic church of "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción" (1524), located in the ancient city centre, like the Sanctuary of the "Virgen del Remedio", located at 10 kilometres, in the saw of Utiel, in a incomparable natural environment that possesses zones of playtime and scattering. This is the point of the beginning of the movement of Our Virgin to the city on September the 6th and that gives the beginning of our Local parties that extend until the 15th day. In that dates is celbrated the traditional Bullfight in the place "La Utielana"- the second more ancient of the Valencian Community-, with a capacity of 10.000 spectators and it counts in its interior with the bullfighting museum. At only 10 Km of Utiel is located the city of Requena, with a wide and well conserved historic centre, where you can visit numerous churches and underground caves, like to have a walk by its streets of Arabian and Jew origin.
